What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service and also for us to help treat you, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping of treatment notes for a period by Law of 6 years.
  • We may be requested to pass on this information to Insurance Companies, Solicitors, fellow Practitioners, Consultants or Therapists. This will only be done with your written consent either by a written and signed/ dated letter or email.
  • We may use your information to send promotional offers via email, text or messenger.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online or in clinic.

For communication purposes and with the power of Social Media, we often use text messenger, email, Facebook messenger via the business page (or sometimes by my personal one) or Whats-app – please do notify us in writing if you wish us not to contact you or communicate with you by this method. Upon coming into clinic due to the new GDPR legislation, you will be asked to sign a slip to say you will be happy for this to be done.
